Responsibilities
- Oversee daily station operations, ensuring efficient fueling services, convenience store sales, and safety compliance
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of professionalism and teamwork
- Manage inventory levels for fuel supplies, retail merchandise, and convenience items through effective stock control and purchasing strategies
- Handle cash management duties including cashiering, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks
- Implement marketing initiatives to boost sales, enhance store merchandising, and promote promotional campaigns
- Conduct regular staff scheduling, shift management, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, inventory levels, and safety inspections while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with a focus on gas stations or convenience stores
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster a positive work environment
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management systems (POS), retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management tools
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and recruiting new team members
- Knowledge of budgeting processes, payroll administration, bookkeeping practices, and cash handling procedures
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently with excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Familiarity with marketing techniques relevant to retail environments and wireless sales is advantageous
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail or grocery store settings is preferred
