Information Dissemination. The Assistive Technology for Employment and
Independence (ATEI) program falls under IHD\'s Community Service area
and is based in the Phoenix, AZ area with their main office in Mesa, AZ.
**About the Position**
Northern Arizona University\'s Institute for Human Development (NAU-IHD)
seeks an Assistive Technology Technician, Senior, to manage assistive
technology (AT) equipment and product inventory and to support staff who
provide assistive technology services to the ATEI Program. The ATEI
program is funded through a contract with Arizona\'s Rehabilitation
Services Administration (RSA). ATEI provides comprehensive assistive
technology (AT) services to RSA\'s vocational rehabilitation (VR)
clients. Please note this position is based out of the Phoenix area and
office is based in Mesa, AZ.
**Responsibilities Include**
50% - Inventory Management

**Responsibilities Include**
50% - Inventory Management
- Orders, receives and processes new equipment into inventory. Labels
- Performs equipment/device inventory updates in inventory management
- Assists with maintaining existing devices, perform equipment/device
coordinates necessary vendor repairs.
- Retrieves and prepares inventory items for AT Specialists to use for
the devices are updated and in working order.
- Prepares devices/equipment to be shipped to clients, including
pick-ups.
- Assists with processing returned equipment including unpacking,
inventory.
- Tracks and reports equipment with NAU property control numbers
- Works w th Assistant Manager, Inventory to appropriately dispose of
- Assists with maintenance of equipment vendor database.
- Configure assistive technology and equipment for client
- Deliver equipment to vendors and clients.
- Install and configure assistive technology and workstation equipment
30% - Financial Reporting
- Purchases equipment, supplies and materials, including alternative
- Monitors and orders equipment management-related supplies: shipping
batteries, tools, and other supplies as needed.
- As directed by the Assistant Manager, Inventory, AT Analysts and/or
technology products under consideration for purchase and with
supervisor approval, purchase AT items adhering to NAU purchasing
processes.
- Tracks purchases and ensures deliveries are completed.
- Uses departmental purchasing card for approved expenditures.
- Completes regular reconciliation of purchasing card transactions in
