The Department of Educational Specialties (ESP) is part of the College
of Education (COE) and offers undergraduate and graduate programs in
applied behavior analysis, special education, bilingual and
multicultural education, career and technical education, and educational
technology. Courses are designed with flexibility in mind to support
students as they balance work, family, and academic responsibilities,
and coursework is directly connected to the knowledge and skills
required in applied settings. The Department of Educational Specialties
prepares professionals to meet the needs of all learners in today\'s
classrooms and communities. As a core faculty member, the successful
candidate will be involved in teaching, accreditation, and programmatic
decision-making for the graduate programs in ABA.
**About the Position**
The Department of Educational Specialties is seeking a full-time,
career- track (non-tenure) faculty position beginning Fall 2026 to
coordinate the MEd in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive
Behavior Support (PBS) Graduate Certificate programs. The successful
candidate will teach asynchronous online courses for students preparing
to take the national exam to become BCBAs, as well as lead the process
of securing professional association accreditation to meet the BACB\'s
2032 Pathway 1 requirements. We are interested in candidates who have
experience providing behavior analytic services and have mentored and
supervised others providing interventions based on the science of ABA.
