This position reports to the Dean\'s Office within the College of the
Environment, Forestry, and Natural Sciences. The primary work location
is in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, which supports
innovative research and teaching in chemical and biochemical sciences.
**About the Position**
The Facility Administration Manager oversees the use of chemicals and
chemical storage for the Chemistry and Biochemistry, and other users in
the College of the Environment, Forestry and Natural Sciences. Analyzes
and coordinates chemical ordering and safe storage. The chemistry
stockroom provides research and instructional labs in the College of the
Environment, Forestry and Natural Sciences and University with chemicals
and supplies needed to conduct research and instructional experiments.
The position allows immediate access to these items through the
stockroom supplies and manages chemical orders for research labs.
The position also acts as building manager for various buildings used by
the college. It also coordinates the repair of autoclaves and RO systems
to support research and instruction within the college.
**Responsibilities Include**
30% - Inventory / Stockroom Management
