We are seeking a Vice President or Senior Vice President to join our Global Client Relations team in New York. This individual will serve as the primary relationship owner for a defined book of intermediary and wealth channel clients, with particular depth in the sub-advisory and platform distribution space.
This is a senior, high-visibility role for someone who thrives at the intersection of institutional investment knowledge and commercial relationship management. You will own meaningful client relationships, drive retention and asset growth, and serve as an internal advocate ensuring the firm consistently delivers on its commitments to clients.
What You'll Do
Relationship Ownership
- Serve as the lead coverage professional for a portfolio of intermediary and wealth channel clients — including wirehouse platforms, large RIA networks and aggregators, and insurance and retirement platforms
- Develop and execute tailored account strategies in partnership with distribution and product leadership
- Lead quarterly and annual business reviews; build and deepen senior-level relationships that support long-term asset retention and growth
- Act as a client advocate internally, representing client perspectives across investment, product, and operational stakeholders
Client Servicing & Communications
- Manage the full client lifecycle from onboarding through ongoing engagement and issue resolution
- Oversee the production of client deliverables: performance reporting, investment commentary, RFPs, DDQs, compliance certifications, and bespoke presentations
- Ensure clients are proactively informed on market developments, portfolio updates, and firm news
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with senior investment, product, legal, compliance, and operations teams
- Partner with distribution and product specialists to develop client-specific solutions and messaging
Business Intelligence & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce) covering pipeline, flows, business at risk, and engagement activity
- Monitor industry trends across institutional and intermediary distribution to identify emerging opportunities and risks
What We're Looking For
- 8–12 years of experience in relationship management or client service within asset management
- Deep knowledge of the US 40-Act fund landscape, including open-end mutual funds, closed-end funds, and ETFs; familiarity with CITs and SMAs a plus
- Demonstrated experience managing sub-advisory relationships and navigating intermediary distribution platforms
- Fluency across asset classes — public fixed income, equities, private markets, and multi-asset
- Strong commercial instincts; track record of contributing to asset growth and retention outcomes
- Excellent communicator and collaborator, comfortable presenting to and building relationships at the most senior levels
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA preferred
- FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 required
