Required Certification: 

This position requires an active Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA). Applicants without current certification will not be considered.

Position Overview:

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by supporting Rheumatology providers, building strong patient relationships, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential to success in this position. This position will travel to the Crystal and Maple Grove clinic locations.

Hourly Range: $21.50 - $27.00, based on years of relevant experience

Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 (paid in three installments)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for visits by rooming, obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and documenting in the EHR (eClinicalWorks)
• Perform clinical procedures including injections, phlebotomy, and EKGs
• Assist providers during exams and support efficient patient flow
• Educate patients and ensure completion of forms and care instructions
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms and equipment
• Follow OSHA and clinic protocols to ensure a safe environment
• Travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Support team operations and contribute to a positive patient experience

Qualifications:

• Active Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required
• Current CPR Certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
