Job Title: Construction Laborer/Operator
Status: Full-Time, On-Site
Job Summary:
The Construction Laborer/Operator supports construction activities through physical labor and operation of tools and equipment. This role works closely with skilled trades and site supervisors to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support construction tasks including demolition, material handling, site prep, and clean-up
- Load, unload, and distribute building materials as directed.
- Assist skilled workers and prepare tools/materials (e.g., mix cement, prep flooring).
- Operate a range of hand and power tools.
- Direct traffic and support safe equipment operation.
- Clean and secure job sites daily.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid PA driver’s license
- Strong mechanical aptitude; relevant certifications a plus
Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Must work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours daily and climb stairs with 40–60 lbs of materials
Requires physical strength, coordination, and stamina
