Work Schedule: 40 hours/week Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY
The Recruiter I is responsible for sourcing, screening, and conducting preliminary interviews with potential candidates, coordinating site interviews, supporting the hiring and onboarding process, and assisting with employment compliance and recruiting administration.
This position is well suited for individuals beginning their recruiting career or those with transferable experience who are looking to grow into a recruiting role.The position requires strong communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of experience in customer service, administration, internships, or other transferable experience.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Customer service mindset with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology.
Excellent people skills, including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team-building skills.
Demonstrated reliability and a stable work history.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Source, screen, and conduct preliminary interviews with potential candidates.
Coordinate site interviews with the appropriate hiring manager to select qualified candidates for project-specific requirements.
Make contingent employment offers in accordance with federal and state legal requirements.
Manage assigned employment requisitions, including reviewing, editing, and obtaining final approval of completed requisitions.
Track and report staffing plan data using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software programs or databases.
Build and update job descriptions based on project requirements and scope of work.
Coordinate and conduct redeployment initiatives, including proactive communication with employees before anticipated assignment end dates.
Conduct the operational and administrative portions of the hiring process.
Coordinate background checks, drug screens, health screens, employment paperwork, and site-specific requirements.
Support Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
