Job Description
The Procurement Specialist I is responsible for supporting procurement and purchasing operations to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services. This role assists with vendor management, purchase order processing, sourcing activities, data entry, contract and procurement documentation, and maintaining accurate procurement records. The position works closely with internal departments and suppliers to support daily operational needs, ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, and help maintain efficient supply chain processes.
Key Functions:
- Process and track purchase orders and procurement requests
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, orders, and delivery schedules
- Support sourcing and supplier management activities
- Maintain procurement records and documentation
- Monitor order status and resolve purchasing issues
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, and administrative procurement tasks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support operational requirements
