My client, an industry leader of nutritional products is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead purchasing, inventory management, and supplier coordination within a fast-paced consumer products environment. This role will oversee procurement operations, manage a team of buyers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure materials availability, inventory optimization, and successful production support.

- Lead daily procurement and inventory management activities while supervising the buying team.
- Coordinate with planning, suppliers, co-manufacturers, and 3PL partners to ensure timely material availability and appropriate stock levels.
- Monitor inventory usage to minimize excess, obsolete, and expired materials.
- Support new product launches, packaging transitions, and commercialization projects.
- Manage supplier relationships, review open orders, and resolve procurement-related issues.
- Analyze procurement data, generate reports, and support MRP process improvements.
- Coach and develop team members while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- 3 years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably within CPG or food manufacturing.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory planning processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Hybrid schedule based in Irvine, CA.
