Secure new customer accounts that meet or exceed the company’s profitability requirements. Grow existing company accounts and prospect for new clients in the Ohio Valley territory.

Duties:
Secure new customer accounts that meet or exceed the company’s profitability requirements. Grow existing company accounts and prospect for new clients in the Ohio Valley territory.
- Price quotations and analysis
- Lead generation and follow-up
- Cold calls and prospecting new leads provided by the company’s marketing department
- Develop customer base/market
- Call reports
- Performs the duties of the position according to documented Procedures and Work Instructions
- Create territory reports on customers and prospects in the Paints and Coatings silo
- Train on products within the company’s Paint and Coatings team
- Participate in several Trade Shows
- Participate in several training workshops with vendors and internal workshops
- Learn technical aspects to the company’s product lines
- Other duties as assigned
$75,000 - $80,000

Technical Qualifications:
- BS degree in chemistry or chemical engineer or 2 years of distribution sales experience
- Strong knowledge with excel spreadsheet
- Basic intermediate knowledge of chemistry
- Understanding of Microsoft office
