Staff Software Engineer (Tech Lead) (5467)

NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Technical Lead to join our client’s team in Reading, PA. This is a hybrid (onsite 2-3 days a week) contract-to-hire position.

SALARY: $60-75/ hour (depending on experience)

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on technical lead experience for large-scale application architecture projects
• Expertise in modern architecture (cloud, event-driven, domain-driven design)
• Proficiency with Java, Kafka, MongoDB, and data synchronization (CDC)
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate solutions effectively
• Experience partnering with senior leaders
  
  

Responsibilities

• Lead the modernization of a large platform used by 16,000 customers
• Collaborate with engineering, data, web services, and enterprise architecture teams
• Drive technical direction and execution of complex initiatives
• Work hands-on as a technical leader guiding software engineers
• Assist in carrying out and leading large-scale solution design
