Requirements
- 1-3 years of payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment or strong administrative background with payroll knowledge
- Experience with ADP or similar payroll systems (including quarter and year-end tax filings, internal controls)
- Proficiency in MS Excel (creating and updating reports, V-Lookups, pivot tables)
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Maintain and review payroll processing systems for accuracy and timeliness
- Process payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and deductions
- Update payroll records for new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation of payroll transactions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Assist with tax notices and coordinate with third-party administrators for quarterly and annual filings
- Maintain payroll instructions and standard operating procedures
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and distribute pay information
- Perform related payroll duties as assigned
