Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE).
- Strong expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management.
- Proficient in administering SQL Server and MySQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with both database automation and administration.
- Skilled in implementing and maintaining database security, integrity, and performance optimization.
- Proven ability to design data models, manage replication, troubleshoot performance issues, and support development teams.
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases (2012–2022) and Azure SQL environments.
- Optimize performance, automate maintenance, and implement security, backup, and DR procedures.
- Support on-prem to cloud migrations and manage high availability, SSAS/SSIS/SSRS solutions, and indexing.
- Collaborate with DevOps to streamline deployments using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and enforce database standards, documentation, and failover runbooks.
- Provide on-call support and performance guidance to developers and cross-functional teams.
