Wireless Telecom Project Coordinator/ Manager
Location: Texas
We are seeking an experienced Wireless Telecom Project Manager to support a fast-paced wireless telecommunications program. This is primarily a desk-based, remote Project Manager role responsible for managing project execution, coordinating stakeholders, tracking schedules, and ensuring successful delivery of wireless network initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wireless telecom, excellent project management skills, and the ability to become productive quickly with minimal onboarding. Experience supporting Verizon is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, administer, and organize projects under the direction of Management or Program Managers
- Plan, budget, schedule, track, and document all aspects of assigned projects
- Define project scope and develop customized project plans
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively escalate issues
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party stakeholders
- Track deliverables, schedules, budgets, and project milestones
- Prepare reports, presentations, and executive-level project updates
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple business units
- Escalate issues impacting cost, scope, quality, or schedule
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of Project Management or Project Coordination experience
- 1 years of wireless telecommunications industry experience
- Strong understanding of wireless network deployment and telecom operations
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Verizon or Samsung or Ericsson or T-Mobile experience
- Experience supporting wireless telecom carriers
- Knowledge of telecom processes, systems, and terminology
- Understanding of wireless network upgrades and deployment activities
- Experience with BBU cabinet upgrade projects
- PMP Certification Previous experience as an Equipment Engineer transitioning into Project Management
Ideal Candidate
- Wireless Telecom Project Manager with carrier deployment experience
- Texas-based and comfortable working remotely
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communicator who can coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups
- Familiarity with Verizon environments and expectations
- Self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal training
Note: This is not a field-based PM role. Travel is minimal and may only include occasional client meetings or visits to client offices as needed.
