Information Technology Project Manager

IT Project Manager- Location: Lewisville, TX

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• VMware & Alternate Hypervisor Migration- Hands-on execution migrating workloads off VMware, including planning, cutover, validation, and rollback
• Platform / Infrastructure Migration Tooling-Experience with migration frameworks, automation tools, and dependency mapping in large-scale environments
• Virtualization & Hypervisor Architecture- Deep understanding of hypervisor design, performance tuning, and workload optimization post-migration
• Data Center & Hybrid Cloud Environments-Proven ability to manage migrations across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud platforms with no service disruption
• Risk, Cutover & Timeline Management-Technical leadership in accelerated migrations driven by vendor exits, licensing changes, or external mandates

What You Will Do as an IT Project Manager

• Develop detailed project plans and schedules with clear milestones and deliverables
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure flawless project execution
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure costs remain within approved limits
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues; provide regular stakeholder updates
• Lead project meetings including status reviews, risk assessments, and post-mortems
• Drive effective communication across cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients
• Apply Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies based on project requirements
• Ensure compliance with project management standards and governance

What You Will Bring to the Table

• 5 years of project management experience, preferably within telecommunications, IT, or technology, with exposure to Industry 4.0
• Proven experience managing multiple, complex projects with strong attention to detail and timeline adherence
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification (required or strongly preferred)
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
