Associate Project Manager (Small Cell) — Denver, CO

Location: Remote (Must reside in the Denver, CO area)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shift

Travel- Up to 10–15% most weeks; may reach 50% during peak project stages

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized Associate Project Manager to support the Small Cell deployment initiatives across Colorado and Utah. This role plays a critical part in tracking project progress, coordinating with vendors, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring successful delivery of small cell sites in the public Right-of-Way.

This is a remote position; however, the candidate must be based in the Denver metro area. Occasional local travel (with mileage reimbursement) and once-a-month in-person meetings at office space will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support multiple project teams across network design and construction.
• Manage audits of power systems, materials, and deployment progress.
• Review vendor data and ensure Crown Castle systems remain accurate and up to date.
• Provide project status updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Interface with vendors and participate in deployment meetings to drive execution.
• Manage risks, issues, scope changes, dependencies, and work orders.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve conflicts and keep projects on schedule.

• Small Cell experience (RF, fiber, power, distributed power)
• MS Excel expertise (working with large datasets, organizing/reporting data)
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of public Right-of-Way deployment
• Proven ability to escalate issues and hold stakeholders accountable

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and external vendors
