The Construction Project Manager II is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role works closely with general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams to drive execution from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate construction and maintenance activities for structures, facilities, and systems.
- Support the conceptual development of construction projects, including scheduling and implementation strategies.
- Oversee project organization, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Coordinate site-level activities with multiple general contractors and vendors.
- Monitor progress, analyze schedules, and resolve construction issues.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 5 years of construction management experience.
- 2 years of industry experience supporting large-scale construction projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and modify plans as needed.
- Experience coordinating multiple contractors and vendors at the site level.
- Excellent scheduling, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Preferred
- Familiarity with customer tools, workflows, and processes.
- Experience troubleshooting fiber optic and power connections.
- Knowledge of alarm clearing and site readiness activities.
