Overview
We are seeking a Service Technician I to support staging and configuration of telecommunication and infrastructure equipment prior to field deployment. This is a hands-on, onsite role in a fast-paced, factory-style environment.
Responsibilities
- Stage, configure, and test servers, workstations, switches, and firewalls
- Set up and configure Windows-based systems
- Follow build and configuration documentation accurately
- Perform basic troubleshooting and issue resolution during staging
- Communicate daily progress to team leads and management
- Support quality, safety, and process compliance
- Assist with debugging sales order or configuration discrepancies
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on technical experience (or less with a technical degree/certification)
- Experience working with servers, PCs, or networking equipment
- Basic knowledge of Windows systems and networking concepts
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation
- Comfortable working onsite in a factory or lab environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cisco or HP networking equipment
- Basic scripting or automation exposure (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Prior data center, lab, or staging environment experience
