An Asset Management Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as Vice President of Operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to credit traders across leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, CLO debt and equity tranches, and other structured credit products
- Support trade execution processes, including booking, allocation, and reconciliation of loan and CLO transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to trade date requirements across multiple investment platforms and sub-funds
- Oversee trade lifecycle events such as settlements, resets, refinancings, paydowns, and corporate actions
- Manage high-volume trade bookings, including BWICs and OWICs, related to redemptions, warehouse ramp-ups, and similar activity
- Collaborate with counterparties, brokers, and internal teams (e.g., operations and compliance) to ensure timely and accurate trade processing
- Process complex loan events, including cashless rolls, debt exchanges, restructurings, amendments & extensions (A&E), and backstop/DIP financings, along with associated legal documentation
- Coordinate security setup with the Investment Data team
- Assist with onboarding new investment funds and CLO warehouses
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as requested by portfolio managers and other internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 7 to 15 years of experience in financial services, including credit trading support, loan operations, structured finance, or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of bank loans and fixed income products (experience with bonds and ABS securities preferred)
- Experience supporting CLO reporting, loan operations, and reconciling trustee reports
- Solid understanding of trade settlement processes and loan documentation (LSTA/LMA standards preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems such as Bloomberg, Intex, ClearPar, or similar platforms
- Experience with trading and accounting systems such as SkyRoad OMS, FIS VPM, Aladdin, or Indus Valley Partners (IVP) products is a plus
Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
