An Investment Management Firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as Accounts Payable Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and disbursements.
- Maintain and update vendor records, including contact details, payment terms, and required documentation. Serve as a point of contact to resolve inquiries and payment-related matters.
- Review and process employee expense submissions for compliance with internal policies and proper supporting documentation.
- Execute payments through multiple channels (e.g., electronic payments, checks), ensuring appropriate approvals and adherence to internal controls.
- Contribute to period-end close processes, including account reconciliations, accruals, and reporting activities. Support year-end reporting requirements as needed.
- Prepare reports and assist with audit requests by gathering and organizing relevant documentation.
- Evaluate existing workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on processes, systems, and best practices.
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to address issues and improve operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar function.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary : $125,000 - $160,000
