Nexeo Staffing is seeking an experienced Exhibit Builder / Cabinet Maker to join an established experiential marketing and event solutions company in North Las Vegas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled cabinet maker, finish carpenter, woodworker, or custom fabricator who enjoys building unique, high-quality projects rather than performing repetitive production work.

In this role, you will help fabricate custom trade show exhibits, branded environments, displays, and event installations using woodworking, cabinet-making, laminating, CNC, and finish carpentry skills. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on fabrication experience, can read blueprints and build instructions, and takes pride in precision craftsmanship and finished appearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and fabricate custom trade show exhibits, displays, cabinetry, and branded environments.
• Perform cabinet making, custom woodworking, finish carpentry, and exhibit fabrication according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and assembly instructions.
• Cut, fit, assemble, and finish wood and related materials with a high degree of accuracy.
• Apply laminate and other finish materials to exhibit components.
• Set up and operate CNC router machines, table saws, and woodworking equipment.
• Use tape measures, hand tools, and power tools accurately and safely.
• Assist with the final fit and assembly of custom exhibits.
• Fabricate custom shipping crates used to protect exhibits during transportation.
• Inspect completed work and perform quality-control checks for fit, finish, measurements, and overall craftsmanship.
• Contribute practical fabrication knowledge and ideas during the concept and design process.
• Occasionally travel to convention or event sites to assist with the installation and dismantling of exhibits.
• Provide limited general shop or warehouse assistance when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous cabinet making, woodworking, custom fabrication, millwork, exhibit building, or finish carpentry experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints, shop drawings, plans, and setup instructions.
• Strong proficiency with a tape measure, hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• CNC router and table saw experience preferred.
• Experience with laminates, cabinetry, millwork, or custom display fabrication is highly desirable.
• Trade show install and dismantle (I&D) experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship and finished appearance.
• Effective communication skills for working with project teams, account managers, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to occasionally work from ladders and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and kneeling.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally travel overnight for exhibit installations or dismantles.
• Reliable personal transportation required.

Pay

$26.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
