Industrial Sewing Machine Operator | Las Vegas, NV

Nexeo Staffing is hiring an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator / Sign Finisher for a full-service large-format printing and custom fabrication company in Las Vegas. This organization creates high-impact displays, signage, fabric graphics, trade show exhibits, retail environments, and experiential installations.

The ideal candidate has experience operating an industrial sewing machine, preferably a Juki, and working with large fabric graphics, vinyl banners, signs, or similar materials. This hands-on production position also assists with sign finishing, laminating, cutting, fabrication, and assembling display components.

Responsibilities

• Sew fabric graphics, vinyl banners, and other materials using industrial sewing equipment.
• Operate a Juki or similar commercial sewing machine.
• Measure, cut, hem, join, and finish large-format printed fabrics.
• Finish signs, decals, banners, billboards, trade show displays, and graphics.
• Assist with assembling aluminum extrusion frames, display walls, and exhibit components.
• Use laminators, hand tools, cutting equipment, and other production machinery.
• Follow production sheets, drawings, samples, specifications, and verbal instructions.
• Inspect completed signs and graphics for accuracy, appearance, and quality.
• Support finishing, laminating, fabrication, production, and installation teams as needed.
• Maintain an organized work area and follow established safety procedures.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial sewing or commercial sewing experience is required.
• Experience using a Juki industrial sewing machine is strongly preferred.
• Experience with large-format printing, sign finishing, fabric graphics, banners, upholstery, awnings, canvas, textiles, or exhibit fabrication is a plus.
• Ability to read measurements, production sheets, drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a production team.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing at least 35 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and kneel on the floor while measuring or cutting materials.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary to complete the production week.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Pay Rate

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift/Schedule

Full Time | Weekend Shift | Friday – Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
