Nexeo Staffing is seeking a dependable Carpenter / Exhibit Builder to join a full-service trade show exhibit company in North Las Vegas. This hands-on position supports the fabrication, construction, and assembly of custom trade show booths, displays, and branded environments.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in carpentry, woodworking, construction, exhibit fabrication, cabinet building, scenic fabrication, or trade show production. Previous trade show experience is beneficial but not required.

Please Note: This may initially be a short-term or seasonal assignment. There is potential for temp-to-hire employment for the right candidate based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the construction, fabrication, and assembly of custom trade show exhibits and displays.
• Perform general carpentry and exhibit-building tasks in a production/shop environment.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and fit materials according to project requirements.
• Safely operate basic hand tools and appropriate power tools.
• Accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Review and comprehend drawings and build instructions; formal blueprint-reading experience is not required.
• Assist experienced carpenters and exhibit builders with custom fabrication projects.
• Maintain quality and accuracy while meeting production deadlines.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and production instructions.
• Assist with additional fabrication, shop, and production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous carpentry, woodworking, construction, fabrication, cabinet-making, exhibit-building, or related hands-on experience preferred.
• Trade show or exhibit industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to understand drawings, measurements, and written work instructions.
• Stable work history with strong reliability and attendance.
• Reliable transportation to the North Las Vegas worksite.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively with a team and follow instructions.
• Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are welcome; candidates must be able to understand work and safety instructions in English.
  • Preferred: Trade show, exhibit-building, cabinet-making, or scenic fabrication experience.

Pay

$24.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
