We’re looking for a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to support our General Counsel, manage a diverse caseload, and ensure our legal operations run seamlessly—so our communities can focus on what matters most.
What You’ll Do
- Manage litigation from start to finish: case filings, discovery, trial prep, and calendar deadlines
- Coordinate with external counsel and serve as a key point of contact for communication and collaboration
- Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and legal documents with precision
- Conduct legal research on state and federal laws, keeping us compliant across California, Nevada, and Washington
- Assist with internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and sensitive matters—always with discretion
- Maintain organized case files, litigation databases, and status reports for the General Counsel
- Must have: Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution
- Must have: 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal (law firm senior‑level background strongly preferred)
- Must have: Proficiency with legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, and technology-driven workflows
- Must have: Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills; ability to juggle multiple cases independently
- Must have: Excellent written and verbal communication, with absolute confidentiality and professionalism
- Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree
- Nice to have: Direct experience in healthcare law, long‑term care, or employment/labor law
