About The Role
Nevly is seeking a DevOps Engineer III for its Nevly Money (the “Product”) Infrastructure Team (the “Team”). We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer that will help establish the Company’s DevOps practice. You will work closely with other technical team members to identify and establish DevOps practices in the Company. You will help the Company build a scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure. You’ll implement monitoring for automated system health checks. Lastly, you’ll build our CI/CD pipelines and train and guide the Team in DevOps practices.
Position Responsibilities
Design and build scalable and highly available CI/CD system in the public cloud.
Design and build development, staging and production environments in AWS.
Setup and improve observability including logging and monitoring for infrastructure and applications.
Setup configuration and infrastructure on principle of everything as code.
Blend security in infrastructure, applications and operations as part of DevSecOps.
Assist containerizing applications and manage container orchestration.
Work with Team members to ensure efficacy, compatibility and performance across the application stack.
Setup strategy, processes and best practices for DevOps adoption.
Position Requirements
Nevly offers a competitive base salary and discretionary bonus based on performance and also provides a generous benefits package to its team members:
Base Salary Range: $154,000 - $198,000

Position Requirements
- 6 years of DevOps experience.
- Proven production experience with deploying, running and operating complex, high availability and large-scale web and mobile applications on AWS.
- Experience managing production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
- Ability to present and communicate the architecture in a visual form.
- Understand the role of reliability engineering.
- Proven production experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Deep understanding of scalable distributed systems and micro-services architecture patterns.
- Proven production experience with containerization and container orchestration; good understanding of security-related technologies and concepts.
- Good understanding and experience with databases.
- Experience leading and building consensus across organizational stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal, and written) and interpersonal skills.
