Job Title: Accounting– Restaurant Group

Reports To: Finance Manager

We are a dynamic, multi-location restaurant group known for exceptional food, warm hospitality, and a commitment to operational excellence. We are looking for a detail-driven Accountant to streamline processes, and support the financial health of our growing company.

- Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation. - Maintain the General Ledger in QuickBooks Online, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up to date. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. - Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Accounts Payable / Bill Pay: - Process and code vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. - Manage approvals and payments for vendors, utilities, and service providers. - Maintain accurate records of expenditures and ensure allocation to proper entity

Accounts Receivable / Revenue Recognition: - Monitor Daily Sales Entry matches Daily Sales Report from POS software to ME and QBO. - Track and record payments, manage collections, and follow up on delinquencies with deposits.

Cash Flow & Banking: - Monitor daily cash balances and forecast short-term and long-term cash needs. - Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and merchant accounts monthly. - Prepare cash flow reports for management review and assist in maintaining liquidity across entities.

Compliance & Year-End Support: - Assist with tax filings and 1099 reporting.

Education & Experience: -

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. - Minimum 3–5 years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant industry. - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required. 

Skills & Competencies: -

 Strong understanding accrual-based accounting. - Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data analysis.

- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple entities.
