We are seeking an Executive Chef who leads from the front. This is not an office, paperwork, or “expo-only” chef role. This is a hands-on, working chef position that requires daily involvement on the line, in prep, and in maintaining a clean, disciplined kitchen.

What This Role Really Is
Working the line during service
Hands-on prep alongside the team
Assisting with cleaning, breakdowns, and closing procedures
Leading by doing, not delegating from a desk
Setting pace, standards, and culture through action
Responsibilities
Actively work all stations as needed (grill, sauté, fry, prep, expo)
Execute and enforce recipes, plating, and food quality standards
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff through daily involvement
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance
Assist with ordering, inventory, food cost control, and scheduling
Ensure prep, pars, and service readiness every day
Hold the team accountable while fostering respect and teamwork
What This Role Is NOT
Not a paper chef position
Not a “sit in the office during service” role
Not a title-only leadership job
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or strong Chef de Cuisine
Comfortable and confident working high-volume services
Strong work ethic and lead-by-example mindset
Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure
No ego about jumping in wherever needed
Passion for food, people, and operational excellence
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods
Lift up to 50 lbs
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
