What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Accountant position at RMC Group?
RMC Group is looking for a full-time Junior Accountant to join our team in Naples, FL! Your primary responsibility will be to assist the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization. This is an entry-level position that will report to the Controller. This position is required to be in office.
Responsibilities
- Assist with invoicing, receiving payments, and posting bank transactions
- Perform basic account reconciliations and prepare supporting journal entries
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Assist with month-end reporting and internal financial documentation
Qualifications
- Excellent organization as well as time and financial management capabilities
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and thorough when working on projects
- Must have 2 years of experience using QuickBooks Online
- Experience in the insurance industry preferred, but not required
- Experience with audits preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Teams, and Zoom
- Associates degree in Accounting preferred, but not required
