Pay Range: $150,000 - $184,745 (based on years of experience)
We are seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead the operations of a high-volume Emergency Department. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, staffing, quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and patient experience while ensuring the delivery of exceptional, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the Emergency Department.
- Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, budgets, and departmental performance.
- Improve patient flow, throughput, and satisfaction.
- Develop and mentor nursing leaders and clinical teams.
- Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to enhance emergency services.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Support strategic growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Emergency Services experience.
- Minimum 3 years of acute care leadership experience.
- Strong background in quality, operations, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership, communication, and team development skills.
