General Summary: Under the supervision of the Housing Director of Admissions, the ROSS Service
Coordinator shall be responsible for the incorporation of the program narrative
specific for the Resident Opportunity and Support Services ( ROSS) Grant. The
program is designated to provide citizens with Employment& Training
opportunities, in addition to Financial Literacy Education in an effort to promote
economic self-sufficiency.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with all HUD statues, regulations, and program rules.
Must have pleasant demeanor and excellent communication skills.
Conduct needs assessments, recruit new participants, make referrals for
services, and facilitate goal- setting
Work collaboratively with residents to meet their needs, create/ maintain a
confidential environment
Coordinate with other service providers and cultivate partnerships
Track program activities, maintain all program data, and keep organized
records which includes preparing/ submitting all performance reports.
Perform duties effectively and efficiently; be motivated, thorough, accurate,
and reliable concerning attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements: Associate' s Degree with 3 to 5 years of experience with HUD programs and
previous experience in coordinating services with low- income families. Must be
able to become HUD Certified Counselor

Preferred Requirements: Bachelor' s Degree in Social Work and/ or minimum of 2 years' experience with
HUD programs and previous experience coordinating services with low-income
families. HUD Certified Counselor
Preference: Muscogee and Indian preference.
