MUSCOGEE ( CREEK) AND INDIAN PREFERENCE. General Summary: Under the Direction of the Youth Service Director. The Royalty Manager coordinates, plans, and implements activities for the Muscogee ( Creek) Nation Scholarship Pageant and ambassador engagement, while overseeing the support and development of Muscogee Nation Royalty. This role ensures compliance with applicable agreements, regulations, and policies, maintaining strong accountability and transparency. The position blends financial oversight with mentorship and program coordination, including managing budgets, purchasing processes, and event participation. The Royalty Manager builds trusting relationships with participants while representing the Nation with professionalism, respect, and a strong commitment to safety and cultural values. This is not a traditional 9- to- 5 position. The role requires a flexible, nonconventional schedule, including overnight and out- of-state travel, as well as extended Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of MNYS and Pageant Program goals. 2. Ensure all activities adhere to applicable agreements, policies, and regulations, maintaining transparency and integrity in all program operations. 3. Coordinate, plan, and implement all activities related to the Muscogee Nation Scholarship Pageant and ongoing ambassador engagement, ensuring programs are organized, impactful, and aligned with tribal values. 4. Manage program budgets, purchasing processes, and financial tracking to ensure responsible use of funds, accuracy, and accountability. 5. Recruit& prepare potential Royalty candidates for competition. 6. Provide guidance, mentorship, and ongoing support to Muscogee Nation Royalty, fostering personal growth, leadership skills, and cultural representation. 7. Manage program calendar and coordinate Royalty appearances. 8. Serve as a professional representative of the Muscogee ( Creek) Nation at events, appearances, and engagements, upholding cultural standards and community expectations. Seve as the primary Royalty Chaperone. Promote and maintain a strong commitment to participant safety, including supervision during travel, events, and overnight activities. 10. Maintain client and program confidentially. 11. Fulfill responsibilities requiring a flexible, nontraditional schedule, including extended workdays, overnight stays, and out- of-state travel to support events and engagements. 12. Identify opportunities to streamline royalty management processes, improve accuracy, and enhance program awareness efforts. 13. Document services and assist with tracking of program outcomes. 14. Perform additional duties, task and responsibilities assigned by management to support the overall operations of the organization. Minimum Requirements: Education — Associate' s degree or 3 years' experience in event planning and direct youth services work. Experience — Minimum three ( 3) years of experience in program coordination, event planning, youth development, or related field. Special skills — Experience with budgeting, purchasing, and administrative processes. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of Muscogee Nation culture and values preferred. Preferred Requirements: Education: Bachelor' s degree in Social Services or related field. Experience: Five years of experience in a leadership/ management capacity. Special skills: Experience working in a diverse multi- cultural organization. Knowledge of the Muscogee Nation. Certifications and licenses: Preference: Muscogee and Indian preference. Valid Oklahoma Driver' s License required?
