What You’ll Do
Loan Closing & Transaction Execution
You will serve as a key driver in the successful closing of multifamily loan transactions by:
- Reviewing loan agreements, closing statements, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Preparing and reviewing preliminary settlement statements and funding requests
- Coordinating document execution, including signatures, notarizations, and complete closing packages
- Partnering closely with originations, underwriting, legal counsel, borrowers, title companies, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth and timely closings
- Tracking closing checklists, conditions precedent, and post-closing deliverables
- Verifying satisfaction of all funding conditions prior to disbursement
- Coordinating loan funding and confirming wire transfers
- Maintaining comprehensive, audit-ready electronic and physical closing files
- You will be a central point of accountability, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Under the direction of attorneys and senior paralegals, you will provide essential legal and governance support by:
- Maintaining corporate records, minute books, and entity management databases
- Assisting with committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and resolutions
- Supporting contract administration, tracking, and document organization
- Conducting legal and business research
- Coordinating signatures, notarizations, and document execution
- Supporting regulatory compliance tracking and deadline management
- Assisting with transaction management, closing processes, and post-closing documentation
- Contributing to special legal projects as needed
- Your attention to detail will help maintain strong governance standards and regulatory compliance.
- This role collaborates closely with originations, underwriting, asset management, capital markets, legal, and operations teams. You will serve as a coordination hub, helping ensure transactions are executed efficiently while upholding the organization’s compliance standards.
- Clear communication, proactive follow-up, and strong relationship management skills are essential.
- Ensure loan closings and legal support activities adhere to internal policies, investor requirements, and regulatory standards
- Maintain well-organized, audit-ready documentation
- Support strong corporate governance practices across the organization
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Paralegal Studies or related field preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in loan closings, corporate paralegal work, legal administration, or related transactional roles
- Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance processes
- Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Valid driver’s license
