Job Overview
Edgewell is opening a new New York City office near Grand Central and is seeking a Desktop Support Technician II to support the office launch and provide high-touch, white-glove IT support. This role will focus heavily on supporting a Mac-based user environment and executive meetings, while also assisting with Windows devices and general office technology support as needed.
This position is ideal for a customer-focused desktop support professional who thrives in an onsite environment, communicates confidently with executives, and can operate independently during a critical office expansion. Strong performance may lead to contract extension or consideration for a permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite, white-glove IT support to executives and end users
- Support the setup and day-to-day operations of the new NYC office, including desks, devices, and meeting spaces
- Deliver Level 1–2 support for macOS, MacBooks, iMacs, Microsoft Office 365, and Windows 11
- Support conference room and AV equipment, including Logitech MTRs
- Manage installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) for hardware, software, printers, and conference technology
- Track, resolve, and document incidents and service requests
- Identify recurring issues and analyze support trends
- Support mobile devices (iOS and Android)
- Perform PC disposal and basic hardware maintenance
- Stay current on system updates, tools, and best practices
- Collaborate with global IT teams and internal business partners
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience providing onsite end-user or desktop support
- Strong experience supporting macOS and Apple hardware (MacBook, iMac)
- Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365
- Experience supporting conference room technology and executive meetings
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service mindset

- Experience with ServiceNow and Kandji
- Physical PC repair and maintenance experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
