Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of Database Engineering experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
- 5 years supporting Oracle databases in enterprise environments
- 5 years of experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication
- 5 years of expertise in Oracle performance tuning
- 5 years working with Oracle Exadata platforms
- 5 years managing Oracle RAC environments
- 3 years administering SQL Server databases
- Strong background in database design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization
- 2 years using Python for automation or operational tasks
- Experience proactively monitoring databases for locks, failed updates, and performance bottlenecks
- Experience leading automation initiatives to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency
