What are the responsibilities and job description for the Smart 2K Analyst - Epic Go-Live position at Morris Technology Solutions?
We are seeking an experienced Epic EMR Go-Live Support Specialist with expertise in SMART2K Behavioral Health Methadone Dispensing System. This individual will provide at-the-elbow clinical and technical support to behavioral health and addiction treatment staff during our Epic EMR go-live period. The role focuses on ensuring seamless workflows for medication dispensing, tracking, and documentation.
This is a short-term role that is required to be on-site in New York.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site, at-the-elbow support to behavioral health and medication-assisted treatment teams using Epic integrated with SMART2K Methadone Dispensing System.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time related to methadone dispensing, dose verification, inventory tracking, and patient documentation.
- Assist staff with login/access, navigation, and workflow questions within Epic and SMART2K modules.
- Monitor and validate data flow between SMART2K and Epic to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Escalate unresolved issues to technical teams or SMART2K/Epic analysts as appropriate.
- Document common issues and user feedback to support post go-live optimization and training efforts.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership, Epic support teams, and SMART2K technical teams to ensure continuity of patient care and compliance during go-live.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience providing go-live or at-the-elbow support for Epic EMR (required).
- Hands-on experience with SMART2K Methadone Dispensing System or comparable medication-assisted treatment dispensing platforms (required).
- Understanding of behavioral health and substance-use treatment workflows, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clinical staff in a sensitive environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under time-sensitive conditions.
- Availability for full shifts during go-live (including evenings/weekends).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting integrations between Epic and SMART2K or other medication dispensing systems.
- Previous participation in multiple Epic go-lives.
- Background in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or pharmacy operations.
