What are the responsibilities and job description for the CBORD Analyst - Epic Go-Live position at Morris Technology Solutions?
We are seeking an experienced Epic EMR Go-Live Support Specialist with expertise in CBORD Nutrition Services Suite of Applications. This individual will provide at-the-elbow clinical and technical support to end users during our Epic EMR go-live period. The role focuses on ensuring smooth workflows in food and nutrition services, patient meal ordering, and related clinical documentation.
This is a short-term engagement, in-person in the New York area. Travel expenses will be covered if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site, at-the-elbow support to clinicians, dietitians, and food service staff using Epic integrated with CBORD Nutrition Services applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time for patient meal ordering, dietary restrictions, allergy alerts, and nutritional documentation.
- Assist staff with login/access, navigation, and workflow questions within Epic and CBORD modules.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the technical support team or CBORD/Epic analysts as appropriate.
- Document common issues and user feedback to support post go-live optimization and training efforts.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership, Epic support teams, and CBORD technical teams to ensure continuity of patient nutrition services during go-live.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience providing go-live or at-the-elbow support for Epic EMR (required).
- Hands-on experience with CBORD Nutrition Services Suite of Apps (e.g., Foodservice Suite, NetMenu, Diet Office, Tray Monitor) (required).
- Understanding of patient meal ordering workflows, dietitian documentation, and foodservice operations in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both clinical staff and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills under time-sensitive conditions.
- Availability for full shifts during go-live (including possible evenings/weekends).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting integrations between Epic and CBORD.
- Previous participation in multiple Epic go-lives.
- Background in hospital nutrition services, dietetics, or food service management.
