Job Scope
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations.
- Manage user/group roles, permissions, ACLs, and security policies.
- Build and maintain workflows, catalog items, service portals, and notifications.
- Partner with outsourced ServiceNow teams for escalated issues and cross-platform integrations.
- Develop and support integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, CASB, SSO, monitoring tools).
- Lead testing, validation, and deployment of upgrades, patches, and custom solutions.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively ensure platform health.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on design and sprint planning.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, requirements, and specifications.
- Mentor junior administrators and share best practices with the IT team.
- Handle multiple projects, incidents, and enhancements with effective prioritization.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM (Request, Incident, Problem, Knowledge, Change, Asset, Service Catalog, Service Portal).
- Experience designing and deploying workflows, catalog items, and custom applications.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, PowerShell, XML).
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
- Skilled in update sets, code promotion, system clone, and data preservation.
- Familiarity with Agile software development (Scrum preferred).
- Excellent verbal/written communication and documentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–8 years of overall technology experience with at least 3 years in ServiceNow development.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or CIS certifications (ITSM, ITOM, Discovery) strongly preferred.
- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Working knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
- Prior experience supporting healthcare, hospital, or enterprise environments a plus.
