What are the responsibilities and job description for the GE CPN Connect Analyst - Epic Go-Live position at Morris Technology Solutions?
We are seeking an experienced Epic EMR Go-Live Support Specialist with expertise in GE CPN Connect (Fetal Monitoring System). This individual will provide at-the-elbow clinical and technical support to clinicians during our Epic EMR go-live period. The role focuses on ensuring smooth workflows for fetal monitoring integration with Epic.
This is a short-term engagement that requires on-site presence in the New York area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site, at-the-elbow support to obstetric, labor & delivery, and maternal–fetal care teams using Epic integrated with GE CPN Connect.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time related to fetal monitoring, maternal assessments, and documentation workflows.
- Assist clinicians with login/access, navigation, and proper use of fetal monitoring devices and Epic documentation screens.
- Monitor data flow between GE CPN Connect and Epic to ensure accurate and timely information transfer.
- Escalate unresolved issues to technical teams or GE/Epic analysts as appropriate.
- Capture user feedback and common issues for post go-live optimization and training.
- Work collaboratively with hospital leadership, Epic support teams, and GE technical teams to ensure continuity of patient care during go-live.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience providing go-live or at-the-elbow support for Epic EMR (required).
- Hands-on experience with GE CPN Connect (Fetal Monitoring System) or comparable fetal monitoring platforms (required).
- Understanding of labor & delivery workflows, fetal monitoring, and maternal documentation.
- Ability to communicate clearly and calmly with clinical staff in a high-acuity environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under time-sensitive conditions.
- Availability for full shifts during go-live (including evenings/weekends).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting integrations between Epic and GE CPN Connect or other fetal monitoring systems.
- Previous participation in multiple Epic go-lives.
