Key Responsibilities
- Manage project accounting activities from project setup through closeout
- Prepare and analyze project financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Perform complex account reconciliations and revenue analysis
- Track project costs, profitability, and key performance metrics
- Drive Accounts Receivable activities, including billing, collections, and aging analysis
- Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate project financial reporting
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze large volumes of financial data
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting, project accounting, or construction/project-based accounting experience preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, and complex formulas)
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable, billing, and collections
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
