Position: RTM Assembler (Composite Manufacturing)
Overview:
We’re looking for an RTM Assembler to support the production of composite pump components using Resin Transfer Molding processes. This role involves working hands-on with molds, fiberglass materials, and resin systems to produce high-quality parts that meet engineering specifications. It’s a great fit for someone detail-oriented with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare molds for production (cleaning and applying release agents)
- Load fiberglass/composite materials and position reinforcements
- Inject resin into molds and monitor curing cycles
- Remove finished parts and perform post-processing work
- Assemble components based on engineering drawings and instructions
- Perform sanding, grinding, and finishing work
- Remove imperfections using hand and power tools
- Conduct visual inspections and ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain production records and report any issues
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
- Support and collaborate with team members as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with RTM or composite manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work independently and within a team
