Our client is an established and growing food manufacturing company seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead its plant maintenance operations. Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance team to ensure reliable plant operations.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Oversee equipment performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
• Serve as the escalation point for emergency maintenance requests.
• Manage budgets, cost-reduction initiatives, and spare parts inventory.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach, develop, and retain team members while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
What We're Looking For
• Background in maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to coach and develop teams.
• Understanding safety policies, compliance, and regulatory standards in a production setting.
• Familiarity with plant systems such as electrical, welding, boiler, refrigeration, compressed air, wastewater, or plumbing is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Schedule & Expectations
• Standard business hours (8am–5pm), with an early arrival (6:30am) to align with overnight shift updates.
• Flexibility required to adjust hours when needed.
• On-call availability for escalations (with a trained support team in place).
