This role ensures shipments are processed accurately, documented correctly, and delivered on time. Must be bilingual and comfortable handling both warehouse tasks and basic system updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle shipping, receiving, and delivery processes to meet deadlines
- Handle invoices
- Verify all documentation and shipments to avoid discrepancies
- Notify customers of any issues, damages, or delays and follow through to resolution
- Send required export documents to obtain green light to ship
- Coordinate updates and revisions with customers and destination partners
- Make/cancel airline bookings as needed to secure cargo space
- Prepare export paperwork (AWB, HAWB, MAWB, manifest, invoices, packing lists)
- Enter inbound/outbound data into SAP (costs, POD, AP corrections, tracking)
- Communicate shipment issues to relevant departments immediately
- Handle returns, disposals, or canceled shipments
- Keep SAP and shared-drive records updated
- Assist drivers with loading/unloading when needed
- Bilingual English & Spanish – required
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Knowledge of export documentation (AWB, HAWB, MAWB, manifests, etc.)
- Experience using SAP or similar logistics systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
- Comfortable with physical warehouse tasks (load/unload)
- Ability to coordinate shipments, bookings, and tracking
