Our client is seeking a Sr. Tax Accountant to handle all aspects of federal, state, and owner-level tax compliance for a multi-entity organization. This role manages data collection, return preparation/review, and coordination with external firms to ensure accurate and timely filings across several business units.
Responsibilities
- Manage federal and state income tax filings for multiple entities
- Review and organize data used in tax returns
- Oversee outsourced federal returns and ensure accuracy
- Prepare and file state tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
- Support flow-through owner returns handled by external partners
- Track filing requirements as additional states and entities are added
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
- 3 years of corporate or public tax experience
- Experience with partnerships, S-Corps, and individual taxation
- Working knowledge of state filing requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with tax software (CCH Axcess preferred)
- SAP experience is a plus
- Understanding of tax depreciation
