A $5B AUM commodities-focused investment firm is looking to add a Management Company Accountant to its Finance team. This role sits at the center of the management company accounting function, offering direct exposure to senior management and the front office. Key responsibilities
- Month-end close for management company entities, including JEs, accruals, and variance analysis
- Track and analyze management fees, incentive income, and expense allocations across funds and GP entities
- Maintain clean GL and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring strong controls and audit readiness
- Support budgeting and forecasting, partnering with FP&A to monitor performance vs. plan
- Assist with financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for senior management
- Support cash management and intercompany activity across a multi-entity structure
- Work 4 days/week in NYC
Requirements:
- 2 years in public audit or corporate accounting
Salary : $100,000 - $105,000
