Digital Press Operator/Bindery and Finishing Specialist

Minuteman Press, the world’s largest and top-rated digital print, marketing, and design franchise, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Digital Press Operator/Bindery and Finishing Specialist for our Middletown, RI location. This role combines digital press operation, bindery and finishing work, and general production responsibilities.

About the Role

You will be responsible for operating digital printing presses, performing all aspects of finishing and bindery, and supporting overall shop production. This position requires a mix of technical skill, accuracy, and strong communication. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality printed materials.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 plus years of professional print production experience digital or offset preferred
• Previous experience in a print production or manufacturing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and exceptional attention to detail
• High organizational competence with the ability to multitask effectively
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work extended hours or overtime during busy periods
• Manager or supervisor experience a plus
• Previous digital printing experience is preferred but we will train the right person

Daily Responsibilities

• Operate Konica Minolta digital presses with in line finishing equipment
• Use print production software, including Fiery, to prepare and manage jobs
• Review job tickets and ensure all specifications are met before production
• Track projects through the workflow to meet deadlines and maintain high quality
• Perform full bindery and finishing operations including cutting, folding, stapling, padding, scoring, perforating, numbering, collating, drilling, booklet making, and preparing mail jobs
• Maintain equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and monitor consumable supply levels
• Track and organize all paper stock
• Communicate job updates, issues, or revisions with management
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area
• Support the team with additional production or customer service tasks as needed

This is a Monday through Friday daytime position.
