Position Summary
The Construction Management Specialist will assist in the design, coordination, and administration of multiple demolition projects. This position ensures that all projects stay on schedule, within budget, and compliant with applicable funding and regulatory requirements.
The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage documentation, coordinate with various stakeholders, and oversee progress across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight & Coordination
- Assist in the design and oversight of demolition projects across various locations.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of active and upcoming projects, including those pending approval.
- Ensure all assigned projects remain on schedule and meet established completion deadlines.
Documentation & Compliance
- Review project submittals to confirm alignment with approved plans and specifications.
- Coordinate administrative functions to ensure a smooth project workflow.
- Review contractor invoices, change orders, and amendments to verify proper allocation and accuracy.
- Maintain organized electronic records of all project documentation including emails, submittals, invoices, amendments, and close-out materials.
Performance Monitoring
- Complete and manage contractor and consultant evaluations at key project milestones.
- Support leadership with contract compliance and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate and collaborate with local administrators and other project partners to coordinate activities and resolve field-related issues.
- Attend plan and specification review meetings, pre-bid, post-bid, and pre-construction meetings.
- Coordinate activities between contractors, engineering firms, and other agencies or partners as required.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma required.
- Experience: Background in construction management, project coordination, or field operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of demolition, design, or public works processes.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining electronic documentation and supporting project workflows.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively across teams.

Pay: Up to $36.97 per hour
