Job Description
- Contribute effectively across a broad range of therapeutic areas.
- Lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary, matrixed teams.
- Adapt working style to operate successfully across different geographies, cultures, and organizational environments.
- Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Provide scientific leadership for invivo pharmacology acrosssmall‑molecule discovery programs.
- Design robust, decision‑driving in vivo strategies to guide program progression.
- Collaborate with in vitro biology, DMPK, and related functions to solve critical project challenges.
- Engage with partner organizations to align scientific plans and objectives.
- Present strategies, data, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Drive innovation by assessing and integrating new technologies, models, and methodologies.
The Successful Applicant
- PhD related discipline.
- Extensive experience leading in vivo pharmacology functions within project teams at a leading pharmaceutical or biotechnology organization.
- Demonstrated success contributing to small molecule drug discovery programs, including leadership roles in advancing programs from early discovery into development.
- Proven track record of serving as a Pharmacology Project Leader or equivalent role in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience supporting programs that have advanced compounds into clinical trials is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of animal modeling and experimental design.
- Fully remote position with occasional travel - can be based anywhere in the USA.
