Key Responsibilities:
- Lead pre-sales, technical solution design, and post-sales support for advanced motion control and automation systems.
- Configure and propose solutions using drives, servomotors, PLCs, HMIs, encoders, and fieldbus protocols (e.g., PROFINET, EtherCAT).
- Guide clients through system sizing, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Deliver training and field support to both internal teams and external customers.
- Travel domestically (and occasionally internationally) for on-site project execution.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering field preferred; or 5 years of direct experience with motion control systems, including servomotors, AC and DC drives, controls, PLCs, HMIs, encoders, and fieldbus communication (e.g., PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT).
- Proven ability to take applications from concept through startup with strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills (pre-sales, sales and post-sales activities)
- Capable of evaluating multiple technical options and implementing effective solutions
- Active listener with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and respond professionally.
- Strong applied knowledge of physics and mathematics for system sizing, load calculations, and selecting appropriate drive and control components.
