- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and updating individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Implementing and monitoring care, delegating tasks appropriately, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards (TJC, CMS, SC DPH), and the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.
- Promoting safety protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and cost-effective practices while utilizing technology and performance data.
- Providing patient education, advocating for patients, and coordinating care transitions effectively.
- Maintaining professional licensure and competencies through ongoing education and self-assessment.
- Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred) or nursing diploma with RN licensure.
- At least one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/program completion; LPN experience may be considered for internal candidates.
- Current RN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or applicable state licensing.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, safety, and regulatory standards; excellent communication and teamwork skills.
